Summary: Lots of downtime

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the amount of downtime occuring at easily. This year alone the email server has stopped working on two occasions for longer than a day at a time. Easily announced on their website that mail server settings would need to be changed for outlook etc but then email starting working again without me needing to make those changes. Also my business website has become inaccessible for both myself and my customers. Not good.

Summary: Poor Service Indeed

Been in contact with tech support for over two weeks over a trivial issue where a bug has crept into their interface that prevents the use of underscores when creating DNS records. They SHOULD work, they used to work, now they don't. Simple fix you'd think...

Oh no... tech support keep on repeating that they do accept underscores (they don't, I've tried multiple accounts and browsers and even had friends attempt it). When support just ignores your problems, lies to you about them being resolved and steadfastly ignores any and all pleas for the incident to be passed on to someone else you know that as a company you're doing something very badly wrong.

Avoid unless you enjoy being talked to like a child and lied to about what they can and can't do.

Summary: Rubbish

My site has now been hacked three times. The first you know is that the service is suspended once the hacker has uploaded their pages, and exhausted your web space. Of course this means you cannot access the server to see what is going on, delete the offending files, and change your password, etc. Easily provide no help, and merely expect you to pay for more space for some other to use.

Summary: Better than I thought

I have a full flash website hosted with Easily, and I was quite surpised that it is running faster that offline on my own computer, I was delighted.

Easily.co.uk are not the cheapest, but they do provide an excellent and reliable support which is hard to find nowadays, as well as good services.

They are launching new products like an Ecommerce website builder which I plan to buy to sell my pictures online..they seem to be on the move, and they do have a cool blog as well to follow from time to time the latest news (there are even pictures from them)..

To summarize that's THE Uk hosting that I trust compare to those big firms like 123reg or 1&1, which are too impersonal for me..
