First off, I should say that I have been online since the days of Fido / BBS, I am not a newb, and have "seen it all"
I have also done my own hosting, everything from owning my own small stack of RAQ's on leased line through colo through reseller right down to simple paid for hosting, so "seen it all" from this aspect too.
I chose Krystal partially because they are local to me (10 miles away) and partially because having been in the game I know what to look for when reading a hosts product / features page, both what is printed, and what is not printed.
Krystal are old school, which means a small company where everyone is technically competent and knows what is happening within the company and the network, I strongly suspect Krystal's receptionist is more tech savvy than most other host's tech support level 2 guys.
Krystal don't do the "unlimited" ********, they do exactly what it says on the tin, and they do it for a very good price indeed.
Krystal are "invisible", and by that I mean you don't notice anything because nothing goes wrong, you just use it, you don't "see" it, if you follow.
If you are looking for hosting for yourself, or for a client, Krystal are solid and reliable enough to protect your reputation.
In these days of "all you can eat for 99p" ********, it is a refreshing change to find a company that puts quality and service FIRST.
The basic hosting packages provided do basically everything you could ask, the full http://www.cpanel.net/ interface, which means auto install and configuration of dozens of packages such as wordpress etc.
I am not affiliated with Krystal in any way, except that of being a very contented customer.
