I searched high and low for a good hosting provider, and then stumbled upon WebHosts. I've not been disappointed. Their live chat (sales/technical support) is fantastic when you need some quick advice or a quick tweak on the server. My account uses Plesk which is fantastic for my needs. The price is very reasonable too, and the uptime is great. Well done, WebHosts. Keep up the good service.

I have just spent around an hour trying to get some basic questions answered about the shared hosting packages Webhost.uk.net provide.
When I asked how many MySQL databases are supported on their shared hosting packages, I was told that "Well, we do not restrict no. of databases, please be sure, we do have CPU and Memory consumption limit on all our hosting plans - So if any of your website will cause any server load issues or access heavy server resources, we will suspend it without warning"
Following this up, I was then told that a domain with more than 200 hits/day would be "too much" for their standard shared package, I'd have to take out their "Elite" package, and if I'd got 4 domains getting 3000 hits a day between them, I'd need a dedicated server!
The customer rep was appalling, had a really bad attitude and even told me to set up my own web hosting company if I'd got 20 website clients (I'm a web-developer).
I thought 1&1 was bad but hey - always try the customer support before you sign up to a hosting company!

Webhost UK were exceptionally helpful when I took out one of their reseller hosting packages.
They were quick to respond to my questions I felt they were on hand to help me if I needed them.
I spent some time looking around for hosting packages before settling on Webhost UK. I think they offer good value for money and the level of service came as a welcome bonus.
I really can't recommend them highly enough.
